Cutting out all fat when you’re trying to lose weight can be a mistake. The trick is to include healthy fats, like nut butters, in small amounts.
- ¼ cup shredded zucchini
- ¼ teaspoon fresh grated ginger root
- ⅛ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon pure maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened almond butter
- 1 small Fuji apple, sliced
- Stir together zucchini, ginger, cinnamon, maple syrup, and almond butter. Use as a dip for apple slices.
