Recovering From a Fracture: Hip & Leg
Keys To A Speedy Recovery
I would encourage anyone who is considering living a longer healthy life to find the time to go to their nearest fitness center and begin or continue a program and attend at least twice a week. Your body will reward you by feeling better. I have been active all my life and I still can participate in tennis, raquette ball, touch football and pickelball at 75 years of age. I've beaten cancer and rehabbed injuries and broken bones and recovered in 1/2 the time by being "in shape".
There are several arm routines you can try to stay active while recovering from a lower body fracture. Watch one of our favorites!
Try a Low Impact Splash Class
Splash is a shallow-water exercise class that uses a signature splash-board to increase movement and intensity options. Splash is suitable for all skill levels and is safe for non-swimmers. The pool provides many benefits when used for aerobic exercise and resistance training.
