SilverSneakers is an industry-leading fitness program for older adults. It is delivered through a nationwide network of participating fitness locations such as YMCAs, Curves^®, gyms, wellness centers and other facilities.

Our qualified SilverSneakers instructors will have the training and skills necessary to meet the needs of a rapidly growing population that values high-quality, personalized service.

The Healthways Instructor Accreditation for Older Adult Exercise program will be discontinued by the end of 2012. Instructors working toward accomplishing this credential will have until December 31 to complete all required workshops and the on-line exam. This credential is valid and renewable as long as instructors attend 10 contact or workshop hours of Healthways continuing education workshops every four years.
